    Practices and Methods Development

This is simple. You can’t replace poor practices until you define the replacement.

Start with the critical machines. Define the work that you know must be done to enhance mechanical reliability, and strongly enforce it.

Unfortunately, the process for creating standardized work practices is time consuming initially. However, these become especially useful when job changes occur, and/or when personal assignments change frequently.

In operating environments where lubrication technicians do not have work standards based on recognized engineering standards, the work methods increasingly change to reflect the personnel opinions of the technicians. This can create significant, sometimes damaging, variability.

AMRRI can show you how to build optimum, precise, rigorous standards.

AMRRI can participate by helping you refine your existing SOP’s and/or can provide detailed ‘precision lubrication’ work practices for you that can be incorporated into existing work plans. Documents can be provided in either excel, word, or PDF format for integration into existing CMMS systems.

Or, AMRRI can build a work planning and scheduling system for you.

AMRRI can populate a stand-alone scheduling system that you would own, and use to complete management of operating and outage based lubrication activities.

It’s your plant, your responsibility, but AMRRI can help you become highly successful with this practice.
