AMRRI’s mission is to assist companies in their efforts to improve efficiency, reliability and reduce cost through the enhancement of their machine lubrication practices.

Our lubrication analysis follows four straight-forward steps that can be done in-house or through the support of AMRRI field service personnel. Following our complete assessment and gap analysis, we will develop a strategic plan, optimize your current practices and schedules and work to ensure proper enhancements are implemented.

Each step follows a well-developed system.

1. The first step represents a low-cost analysis of the current condition. It answers the question: Where are we exactly with our lubrication practices versus precision lubrication? Our proven evaluation process has continually changed to reflect the current manufacturing and mining interests. This lubrication analysis tool is designed for self-assessment or can be used in conjunction with an AMRRI consultant. Through specifically designed yes or no questions, and our proven assessment system, we are able to provide an accurate score for your facility.
2. Step two is incorporated with step one. Step two provides a clear tactical blueprint for precision lubrication, including a development schedule, time and cost projections to deliver either training internal employees to ‘build your own’ program, or to determine which services are necessary to achieve the optimal machine lubrication strategy. Once the strategic direction has been outlined, AMRRI will help you create your goals and objectives to easily integrate ideal machine lubrication practices within the busy manufacturing environment.
3. Step three embodies the comprehensive reliability centric analysis of production machines, and the creation of machine lubrication practices designed for maximum equipment sustainability. Although this portion of the process is tedious, it is a crucial step in identifying and replacing poor lubrication procedures. The machine needs analysis provides detail and emphasis for the highly critical machines to enhance mechanical reliability. The degree of detail declines with criticality to create an optimized plan, driven my the production mission of each machine. By completing this essential step, your lubrication procedures remain strong during personnel adjustments and avoid significant, sometimes damaging, variability. AMRRI can populate an existing scheduling system, or provide one designed for this activity that you would own, and use to complete management of operating and outage based lubrication activities.
4. Step four consists of a one to three month Machine Lubrication Program Management Support Plan to identify and correct any weak areas, and transition plant personnel over to the new practices. Our unique mentoring approach will accelerate improvements and minimize confusion during the crucial early period of program implementation. Our attending engineer will provide management oversight, correction and ensure peak program performance. This process includes substantial hands-on training and re-education to assure that status-quo practices become precision practices.

AMRRI can also free up your key personnel by building your precision lubrication program and running it for a minimum of 36 months. During that period, we will design and populate your machine lubrication practices and help incorporate them into your staff’s daily routines. Once this process is complete, your personnel will be able to take over the process seamlessly. AMRRI will provide personnel to fulfill lubrication analysis, equipment inspection, lubricant supply/delivery/removal, or any specialized services necessary. Our goal is to help you improve your machine lubrication practices to receive the best return on your investment possible.
